Darius fell asleep last night snuggled up with a framed picture of his mom. Almost made me cry. They had their weekly visit with her yesterday, and he came home a little more somber than usual . . . but snapped out of it pretty quickly. She always has stuff for them when she sees them, and yesterday was a new game for his DS system that is too hard for him, so, as he was trying to play it, he was getting frustrated and said, "I want to go home." It prompted me to ask for prayer for her. She has not been agreeing to a "dependency" which is where she would get the boys back, but have people checking in on her. It requires her to admit that she was unable to care for the boys herself, which she doesn't want to admit. So, she has a trial in a week and a half that will probably last a few days, and she may get them back then, or she may not. If she doesn't, I'm not sure what they'll decide to do with them. It will be court-ordered at that point. Anyway, those two boys love her and they want to go home so badly . . . pray that mama will do what she needs to to get them back.
On another note altogether, here is a movie recommendation: "Vantage Point." Jeremy and I rented it last night (I can't remember the last time we sat down and watched a movie together)a and I was a little nervous before it started because I can't handle anything gorey (I don't think I spelled that correctly) or scary. This movie was PERFECT for Jeremy and I: lots of action and suspense without being scary. It also didn't have any gore and maybe 2-3 cuss words in the whole movie. If you haven't heard of it, the story is that the president is shot and you see the whole event through about 6-7 different people's eyes. It's like trying to put a puzzle together. It all comes together very nicely at the end. The other plus is that it's only 90 minutes long, so I didn't fall asleep! :) I sound like a movie critic, but oh well. Go rent it with your husband and tell me what you think.
P.S. I was very close just now to putting a picture of Xavier and Clara in the bathtub on here (with bubbles covering important body parts, of course) but I caught myself. I haven't posted a picture of them yet, and I won't start now. Bums me out, though, because they are so darn beautiful!

Laura,
It is kind of funny that you are asking for prayer for her, because I caught a glimpse of her on the news last night, along with big brother, and I was just really drawn into prayer for her and for all of those precious boys. I will continue to pray for the entire situation.
I keep missing them on the news! Everyone tells me when they're on, and I'm just not watching at the right time apparantly. :) Hey, want to do the zoo on Friday, if it doesn't rain?
