Early Christmas present for Clara!
My dad came over last night late after work and brought us a surprise: A playhouse for Clara! He helps our town with building the float that is used for parades around the state (the same one that I rode on when I was "Queen Cashmere" . . . ahh, those were the days!) and this year they used a children's playhouse as part of the float. They just took it apart last weekend, and dad fought to keep the playhouse and give it to us! It is really cute, complete with a little porch on the front with two little benches and some fake flowers around it. The cute thing was that Xavier was totally into it, and then Darius and 1/2 of the neighbor kids played in it all afternoon, too, which I didn't expect, as it is really more geared towards toddlers. Dad got a few pictures of Clara and Xavier in it before he left . . . being that she can't walk yet, Clara can't really do much in there right now, but next Spring, I'm sure it will be a big hit! Thanks, grandma and grandpa for the fun early Christmas present!

That is so cute!! I love it!
Totally cute! I'm so jealous.
I commented back on Facebook about the felt food. I'm going to blog about making it but if you want more info feel free to let me know. It's fun and very easy and would go perfectly in the little houses kitchen. :)
that house is such a blessing, all your kids will love playing in it and it will prompt the story of the Cashmere float and of your own experience with being "the Queen of a whole town"!!!!!
