Some pictures from the past few weeks . . .

We have been doing a lot and going all over the northwest in the past two weeks! I'm really excited that my parents are coming over here for Christmas this year, and so grateful to them for doing that. Jeremy and I joked that we are never going anywhere for only one night again . . . it takes just as much effort to pack up for several days as it does for one, so you might as well stay a while. Anyway, I took Clara to Cashmere two weekends ago for my dad's store's open house, which was a Las Vegas Theme, complete with my dad dressed up as Elvis! I got Clara all dressed up in a Christmas dress, and she was the star of the show, of course, being the only grandkid of the owner of the store! It also gave me an excuse to buy a new sweater so I would look nice, and I love the one I found at Target. Clara in her dress . . . she looks kind of like a red-head in this picture!

Here I am with Clara at Hunter's Christmas Tree Farm. We went down there yesterday with the boys to look at trees and get a picture with Santa. A bunch of our friends were going there and we met up with them and ate pizza. We have decided for the first time this year to use a fake tree (gasp!) mostly because a friend from our church is loaning us her really nice one for free and we think maybe Clara doesn't need to eat a bunch of pine needles. (I know, I know . . plenty of you out there have babies and get a real tree . . . it's no excuse!)

Clara, on Thanksgiving Day. We went to Salem, Oregon and had our meal with Jeremy's parents as well as his brother, Jeff and his wife, Leslie and kids. Leslie made a super meal for us! Clara ate a TON of turkey, sweet potato baby food (which is on her nose in this picture, causing the family to laugh at her, which made her laugh), bread, canned pears, and a taste of potatoes, stuffing and pumpkin pie. She seems to be on a growth spurt right now. She had on a cute shirt all day that had a turkey on it and said, "I'm stuffed" but I didn't get a great picture of her in it.
