So, Mashel tagged me for a "Kreative Blogger" thing and I'm supposed to say six things that make me happy. I can't figure out how to copy and paste the little picture that goes with it, and I don't really want to take the time to. But, since we've all been sick off and on for a while, and I'm kind of dreading a 3.5 hour car ride to Salem tomorrow and then back on Thursday with three kids . . . . I'll sit for a few minutes and think of six things that make me happy. It will be good therapy! :)
1. Afrin nose spray: When I have bad allergies in the summer or when I have a cold, it is my lifesaver. I am careful to only use it once or twice in a 24 hour period so that it will actually work for me. I can go from having a completely clogged nose to being able to breathe within a minute! Love it!
2. Baby butts: Mashel has a thing for baby toes . . I have one for baby butts. I hope it doesn't sound weird . . I just think they are so cute, especially in cute little jeans! Actually, I guess I'm mostly just into Clara's butt, not others'. :)
3. Pumpkin anything: I'm excited for Thanksgiving because I love pumpkin pie, and pumpkin bread, pudding, or anything else pumpkin. But not lattes . . liquid pumpkin doesn't appeal to me.
4. "ER": I have watched the show "ER" since it began, which was, like 15 years ago or something like that? I don't really like the characters now as much as I did in the beginning, but it's the only show that I have stuck with for that long, and, now that it's the last season, every episode is getting a little more emotional for me. I know, it's dumb . . .
5. Christmas decorations: I can't wait to put ours up this weekend! However, I think we'll have to modify greatly as there won't be able to be anything within Clara's reach!
6. Worship: Nothing makes me happier than a great worship service where I can tune out everything and just pour out my heart to the Lord for a while in singing or piano-playing. It doesn't happen very often . . most of the time, during church, I am leading the worship which makes it more difficult to completely let go and just focus on the Lord and not on the transitions, the right notes, the right words to say, etc. I really, really love Chris Tomlin concerts, especially at Creationfest at the Gorge!
There you go. Hey, that made my mood much better! I need to sit down and do that everyday!

That was great Laura. I too am an ER addict. I have watched it from the begining too, so I agree on the emotional part. I don't what I will do on Thursday nights once it is over.
