This last week, the weather was less than great . . . lots of thunder storms, rain, and general yuckiness. One day, though, it poured for about 45 minutes, then cleared up, so I took the girls out on a walk and let Clara jump in big huge puddles with her rain boots on. Savannah giggled watching her the whole time, from her dry spot in the wagon. Another day, I knew that, A) The babies were due for a bath, and B) The kitchen floor was due for a cleaning. So, I got brave (and maybe a little crazy) and put the babies in their high chairs, stripped down to diapers, and gave them a tray full of baby food, pudding, and jello! I didn't really know what they'd do . . . I half expected it to last 5 minutes and they'd be done . . . but I was pleasantly surprised at their enthusiasm! Yes, it made a HUGE mess. Yes, it took me a long time to clean it up, and I probably won't even make it a monthly activity. But all three kids loved it, and were really into it for probably 40 minutes. Definitely worth the time it took to clean up, plus I got some cute pictures!
I wish I would have gotten more of Savannah in this one . . so cute!
Clara is a little more careful about getting messy . . she was cautious for about 10 minutes . . . but then she starting painting her body when I gave her a paintbrush
These pictures show the difference in Sav and Emma's personalities: Here is our Savannah J . . . carefree, laughing, splatting, talking, yelling . . she put her forehead straight down into the mess, as she tried to eat it, pig-out style!
