I haven't done this in a while, so I thought I would this evening as I'm waiting for Jeremy to get home from youth group. Some favorites of mine tonight:
1. NCAA basketball tournament: I am a sporty gal, that's for sure. And, just for the record, I did love watching and playing sports LONG before meeting my sports fanatic husband. :) I'm sad that I'm missing the Gonzaga/North Carolina game tomorrow night due to a scrapbooking night that was planned weeks ago. I'll have it on the radio, though.
2. Clara's talking and signing: She seems to be wanting to talk more and more lately, and it's so fun and cute! She can attempt to repeat just about anything you ask her to, so I've been having her repeat, one word at a time, "I - - love - - you - - mama" every night before bed. There's nothing better than that!
3. Jeremy working out with me: I have been taking a Circuit class at the Puyallup YMCA since around Thanksgiving that is on Monday/Wednesday/Friday mornings. I get there probably 2/3 mornings each week. I absolutely LOVE this class. There are 8 stations set up around the gym that we go to for a minute each, and we do some sort of 5-10 minute exercises or running in between rotations. The hour flies by and I work my entire body. The instructors are upbeat, and they play fun music. There are a bazillion people in there, so there are lots of different ability and fitness levels represented. I can't say enough about it. Anyway, Jeremy started going with me last week, and he loves it as much as I do. It's great having my best friend there with me, and I just love working out with him. Great way to start our day!
4. Parks: Now that the weather is getting better (we still have a long ways to go until the weather that I really like, but we're getting closer!) I have been trying to get to the park more with Clara, as her most favorite thing in the world right now is swinging. There are quite a few parks to choose from around here, which is nice. I recently found one over by Tacoma Baptist High School that I really like and will probably visit a lot this summer with foster kids and Clara. It has a great playground for all ages, a water spray park, basketball courts, and a path that goes around a big grass field. I figure the kids can rollerblade or bike around that path while I'm at the playground with Clara because the whole path is visible from the playground, which is nice.
Happy Friday everyone!
