Is it fall yet?

We are almost there! Our official start to fall structure starts one week from today . . "I think I can, i think I can" is what I am saying every day to myself. We're so close, I can taste it!

In a few years, when my three girls play together, fight together, and we are able to go on all sorts of summer adventures together, I think i'll look back on this last summer and think it was one of the hardest in some ways, but one of the easiest in other ways. The babies have been taking two naps all summer, thankfully, although that is coming to an end VERY soon, as they are having a harder time falling asleep in the afternoons when they sleep for an hour and a half in the morning. Probably by the end of September, we'll be on a one-nap schedule, which will be good and bad. We've done a lot of fun little outings all summer long, and I've got a few pictures of them. But, as I said in my last post, I'm craving fall, for the structure, and a little bit for the weather. Ready to be able to go outside in the afternoons and NOT have to be in water to do it.

I've had a lot on my plate for these past couple of weeks and into the next week or two until we get our fall routine established. I'm going to start the toddler class at the YMCA a week from Friday, and, because of that, I've had to do about 5-6 hours of some staff training, both in the building and online, to prepare to be an official staff member there. I am going to start the preschool piano lessons the week of the 20th, and scheduling for those has been a nightmare, to say the least. Currently, I have five students and a possibility of a sixth . . . which is not as many as I had originally wanted to have . . . but I know that God has a plan for this, and we're just gonna take it one lesson at a time. I'm excited to start! Jeremy and I are also starting youth group next Wednesday evening, the 7th, and we have decided to serve dinner each week to the kids, so I'm heading up organizing a meal donation schedule for people at our church, as well as use people to babysit the girls so that both of us can be at youth group. Whew! All this planning! I know, though, that once we get a few weeks into our fall schedule, things are going to fall (haha, no pun intended) into place, and I'm going to be happy as a clam having some regular activities to participate in.

Well, I thought the babies had just fallen asleep up there for a late p.m. nap, but I hear them, so this post is gonna be short. Here's a few pics since the last posting: The girls and I went with a friend and her boys to Smallwoods Farm a few weeks ago on a "not quite so hot" day. The babies absolutely LOVED it. We need to make it a more regular field trip, as it was perfect for them. They just ran around, seeing all the animals, and making lots of animal sounds!
A few weeks ago, the girls were in a "huggy" kind of mood . . so I grabbed the camera quick while it lasted! It was very, very difficult to get a good picture of them . . but I tried! All three girls have been playing pretty well together lately, and they do like to have wrestling matches with each other. So cute! (Yes, Emma has Halloween pj's on in this picture . . I got out the next box of 18 month size clothes from the garage, and there were two pairs of halloween pj's in there that clara wore. They fit them now, so we're wearing them in August!)

Cutie pies at the far . . . Sav's in front, Emma's in back

A few Sunday's ago, we became members at our church and also had the children dedicated! it just happened to be on the worst morning we had really ever had here at the Lebow house, so that was interesting. Once we got to church, though, it turned out ok. A friend took pictures for us, and actually got about 25 shots . . . . I laughed out loud when I downloaded them and saw the progression of the whole dedication... Jeremy and I spent the majority of the time just trying to keep them from leaving the stage! so glad we have pictures, though, and some certificates to show the girls when they get older!
