Our last month as a family of three

Yes, the babies have been born, and I still haven't had time to put pictures on here or on Facebook. I was going to do that right now, but Facebook is down, so maybe later this afternoon. Before I do a blog post on them, though, I wanted to have one last post with a few pictures of our family while we were still the three of us. The last few weeks before the twins arrived, I must admit, I had a hard time some days just enjoying Clara and taking advantage of the time with her because I was so uncomfortable and just ready to be done. But we did get a chance to do some fun things with her, and, now that the babies are here, I'm glad we did.

These pictures are actually in the opposite order of how I would like them, but I can't figure out how to change that . . . Our last family picture as a family of three, taken pretty much 24 hours before the babies arrived. We went to the Puyallup Spring Fair Friday evening for a few hours. It was fun to get people's reactions as they saw my belly and would ask questions about when I was due. People were pretty astounded that I was walking around the fair 12 hours before I would be induced with twins!

Clara got to ride on the pony ride, which she loved!

Eating dinner . . some teriyaki noodles and chicken

On Easter Sunday . . she was a little grumpy that morning, and just getting her into a dress and tights was work enough for this tired, pregnant mama! Her hair looks a little abandoned.

At the Easter Egg Hunt at our Church the morning before Easter. She was so excited to go. She really wasn't that into looking for and gathering the Easter eggs . . she just wanted to open each one and eat the candy right away. "I LOVE candy!" she kept saying. Takes after her mama, I guess. (And Daddy, too, for that matter)
Next post: Baby pictures. I promise.

Oh - the bows are sooo cute on her! You know I'm a bow fan, but look at the cuteness with those piggies! Great last family of 3 pic too!

It's fun to think back to those last moments, isn't it? Your life will never be the same! I second Amber's comment on Clara's bows. They are super-dee-duper cute on her!
