Clara is four months old on Mommy's Day!

How fun that Clara turned 4 months today! What a blessing this day has been. I was reminiscing with Jeremy this morning about how Mother's Day was last year . . . we had just moved into this house about 2 weeks before, and had just found out we were pregnant the week before. That Friday before Mother's Day, I had gone in to the Gyft clinic to have my hormone levels checked, and they had said that they hadn't gone up as much as they would have liked. We were nervous wrecks all weekend, assuming that we were going to miscarry again, so it was not a very happy Mother's Day. Now, I am looking at my beautiful daughter, and just giving so much thanks to a gracious God for entrusting her care to me. God truly works all things for good. Happy Mother's Day to all of you moms out there, but also to those of you who aren't moms yet . . . like Jeremy said at our church this morning, "You don't have to be a mom to be a mother to someone." You can affect the life of a child even if you aren't a mommy. Anyway, here are some pictures of her, mostly taken just today. Just me and mommy. I have a new outfit on today!

I have been doing really well at all my care-giver's houses (thanks so much to Woodie, Susanna and the twins, and Sarabeth . . you are all such a blessing!) I haven't rolled over since that first few days I did a month ago, but I do like to thrash around a lot in my crib before I sleep and roll as far onto my side as I possibly can. I am grabbing at all my toys now and putting them straight into my mouth. No teeth yet, but I sure like to suck on everything!
