1. There is nothing like being a mom of a baby to teach you that trying to plan everything out and hope the Lord will bless it (what I've had a tendency to do in my life) not only doesn't work, but it can make you frustrated! As much as we try to keep Clara on a good routine and schedule, some days are just off and we just have to roll with it! A difficult thing for me to do. :)2. "Cat-naps" don't cut it .. . at all! On Tuesday, Clara had four 45-minute naps while at home with daddy all day and she was a major pill all day. The next day, she had two, 2-hour naps, and another 1.5 hour nap, and she was much, much happier! AND she slept a lot better that night! The theory that, "if they don't sleep much during the day, then they'll be more tired at night" is not true.
3. Clara LOVES taking a bath with me in the "big girl bathtub" and she will just hang out in there for at least 1/2 hour, so we do that almost every night now, partly to kill time until her bedtime.
4. There is nothing sweeter than your baby cuddling with you when she first wakes up from a nap and is still waking up . . . or, watching her giggle when you kiss her stomach . . . or, "talking" with her in the morning after her first bottle . . . or, seeing her fast asleep in her crib when I go to bed at night . . . or, or, or . . . the list could go on forever.

I hear you girl, these babies are so precious, I just want to stop time! I'll have to try that bath idea, I bet Peyton would love it too:)
Laura,
Very sweet, but do you always take a bath in your swimsuit? ha ha, not that I want a picture on there of you without it!
My babies love taking a bath with me in the big tub too. It is sweet.
